[edit] Politics and Current Events
La Famiglia currently has the largest membership in Rome with more than 200 members. Cesare Borgia, a member of La Famiglia was recently elected mayor with a commanding majority. La Famiglia's most recent efforts have been in aquiring and providing inexpensive trait suppliers such as the Soup Kitchen, which provides nourishment at the cheapest rates in Rome. The city is also home to the current Cybercitizens' president, Hassan the Assassin, who is also a member of La Famiglia.
The Ardente Veritate, formerly the smallest of the three major Roman factions, was the only ancient themed organisation in Cybercitizens. They have recently disbanded, though there has been some effort on the part of some people to revive the organization. So far, these revival attempts have met with very little success. Also there was a SWAT team to protect the people of Rome, alas, it is also no more.
[edit] Religious Life in Rome: The Holy See
Rome is home to one of the oldest and most respected organizations in Cyber Citizens - the Cybercitizens Catholic Church. Currently led by His Holiness Pope Pius XIII, the Cc Catholic Church plays an active role in the promotion of peace in its mission of catering to the spiritual needs of citizens world-wide. The Church maintains close ties with all the major groups. In Rome, the Church maintains a strong independent presence and chooses not to involve itself in mayoral politics. A Charity Ball recently raised over $ 75,000 for the Church to use in its many charitable endeavors, a major event in which the Mayor of Rome, Hysterian, announced she was leaving political life to become a Dominican nun!
